Because of the misinformation that's been spreading around our decision with Clovarity, we figured we should make a tweet explaining our side of the situation. We didn't form as a team until a week before RLCS, and talks with Clovarity were extremely rushed because of that. 1/?

We made the decision to offer to represent Clovarity for this regional out of good faith while we worked to come to an agreement between each other. Then on Sunday night, April 21st, after we made RLCS main event, Gad reached out and said he was updating and improving our salary.

Tuesday night(the 23rd), I,JD,Rari,Ooigle, and Clovarity had reached an agreement after a negotiation process that involved our manager,Ooigle,revising a 38-page contract template that Clovarity had received from Wildcard Gaming that was not appropriate to use for this scenario

and we as a team had to advocate for the improvements of the invasive statements and errors. Wednesday morning, we had received a message from both owners of Clovarity stating that they needed changes to our agreement that involved halving our agreed upon salary

while also requesting us to lie on the org's behalf for their PR. Amongst other issues throughout the process, this was the last straw for us and we decided to walk away from Clovarity and pull out from our good faith representation of the org.

More disappointingly, we have received reports that Clovarity management is spreading blatant lies about the situation such as us being under contract. We had never signed a contract with Clovarity and had only been representing them out of good faith. 6/6.
