Patrick Mahomes was on the field for less than 1 minute in the 1st preseason game. Not enough time for him to accomplish everything he wanted to. #ChiefsKingdom

The NFL and NFLPA still could reach a settlement on a potential suspension in the Rashee Rice case before the scheduled Sept. 30 hearing in front of disciplinary officer Sue L. Robinson, which would make that hearing unnecessary.

Rashee Rice context: League/player/union discussed discipline but couldn’t reach agreement, so case will be heard by Sue L. Robinson, who oversaw Deshaun Watson disciplinary hearing in 2022. My understanding is that the date is 9/30 because that’s when it fits into her schedule.
