Day 2 of Wales and I was finally behind Dolgoch! If only I'd brought Rheneas

Wales never disappoints!
I've finally made it to the Ffestiniog railway and got to see a double Fairlie. I highly recommend it, beautiful views all the way up the line.
Good thing I didn't see Prince, or I'd probably be starting Duke when I get home!

I've made the railway pilgrimage today, great experience

It rarely snows in the UK so I couldn't resist setting this up!

Had a lot of fun at the Spa Valley Railway today with TomsProps and Sodor in Gauge 1.
It was amazing seeing the props in person and getting to meet everyone at the event. Looking forward to day 2!

It was lovely meeting you all and riding along such a picturesque line.

Here is my Gauge 1 Toby and Henrietta. This was a tricky build for me, and I spent a lot of time getting Toby's two-toned planks to look right. Ultimately I couldn't be more proud of the finished model!!

Another truck, the CCT! This was a great build and a welcome addition to my rolling stock.
This is now the biggest replica I own and was built from custom cut wood and vac formed plastic. Painting and weathering was done by hand with acrylics.
I'm very happy with the result!

Here's one of my favourite pieces of rolling stock, the GWR van. Made from vacuum formed plastic and wood, this was a really fun project to get done.
I went for a dusty look by adding fullers earth, weathering trucks is always so fun. A fine addition to my collection of trucks!
