We put my friend Dick in the ground today. One of my intergenerational friends, lucky me. As we stood there it hit me that rather than pushing back on things, he had a way of pushing forward on them. I think I’ll try it. We had as much fun as two guys 40 years apart could have.

I’m torn on who to root for in this Colorado-NDSU game tonight. Should I cheer for the overhyped team led by an inexperienced head coach trying to resurrect a struggling program with a delusional fan base that thinks they are a national brand, or should I cheer for Colorado?
