Tonight’s textbook reading is dedicated to those teachers who will not be returning to Jacket Nation next year. We love them and we will miss them very much. Until we return in August, be well and go Yellowjackets!

Earlier today we held a graduation ceremony for our Class of 2020 military enlistees. We thank them for their service to our country. Congratulations graduates!

As much as it pains me to say it I can’t attend graduation tonight. I cancelled my flight from Florida because COVID rates have skyrocketed here. Even if I am negative I didn’t want to take the gamble of catching it on a flight and spreading it to Jacket nation.

But I’m super excited to watch it from the live stream! I cannot compliment Lebanon Schools for taking the time to prepare the most safe event possible. I am also so excited for everyone participating tonight. I am so proud of all of your work and perseverance through this.

Not the view I’d want to but it’s a good one regardless. Congrats to our 2020 grads!

Hey everyone! For those of you that don’t know I will not be returning to LHS this year because my time with Americorps has ended. You have no idea how much I appreciated my time at LHS and in Lebanon. Thank you for taking a chance on me and for all of the great memories.

But there is some good news! I will be succeeded by Mr. Chris Cahill. He graduated from Missouri State and I have no doubt that he will be a great addition to Jacket Nation. Starting tomorrow he will take over this account as well.

As for me I will be taking graduate courses online through Mizzou before fully pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Affairs next year. Jacket Nation I love you! Please feel free to reach out on other social media. This isn’t goodbye but see you later!
