South pulls the Romeo series to even at home today with a 5-2 W behind a quality start from Hayden Vinyard ‘24. Jack Ryan ‘24 got the W in relief. Joey Michelotti ‘24 paced the offense w 2H & an RBI. The rubber match is Romeo Baseball at 4:30 on Thursday.
In game 2, Jack Ryan '24 earned the W on the mound, scattering 6 H over 5 INN. The hitting star was James Michelotti '25 with 3 hits.
The next game action is Monday at home against top-ranked Brother Rice Baseball .

After a couple tough days in a row, South bounced back w a 6-5 win over Dakota. Jack Ryan ‘24 (pic) nailed down the save after another good start from Cliff Grabowski ‘23. Andrew DiLodovico (pic) ‘25 had 2 H & another great day defensively behind the plate.
The nightcap was called for darkness after 7 in a 5-5 tie. Jack Ryan ‘24 was solid in relief for South, surrendering only 2 hits in 4 INN of work. Andrew DiLodovico ‘25 had 2 more hits, along w Jack Weigand ‘24 & Ben Domzalski ‘23. The game will be completed at a later date.
In a marathon of a game at Stevenson, South pulls through 7-4 in 12 innings. Jack Ryan ‘24 nailed down the S & had a 2 RBI 1B in the 12th. Hayden Vinyard ‘24 had the game winning hit. Cliff Grabowski ‘23 was outstanding in relief for the W after a solid start fr Ben Frakes ‘23
In game 2, Matthew Zrimec ‘23 had a H, BB & 2RBI. Alex English ‘23, Jack Ryan ‘24, & Jake kozel ‘24 combined in a solid effort on the mound. Ryan also added an RBI 1B. The next game action is at Stevenson for a MAC makeup game on Monday.
