My love, my husband Jim Gilbert took his last checkered flag early this morning. He loved life, he loved racing, but above all he loved his family. He won the ultimate battle, he found cure for ALS. I will see you one day again, my love. My heart is broken 💔 #ENDALS

I ask for your prayers of peace for my husband as he struggling with ALS. Last night was a touch and go and after 4th dose of morphine his breathing finally calmed down and he fell asleep. He said he thought he’d die. #ENDALS

Asking for a prayers for my husband Jim. He’s running fever, pulse is high, and blood is coming up from his lungs. He’s been an amazing fighter the 15mo since dx. Hospice nurse visited 2am, waiting for antibiotics. #fuckALS

This group of amazing Hendrick Motorsports guys help around, jumpstart 2 vehicles with dead batteries, blew leaves, started Camaro, organized stuff and cleared out the garage of junk. My heart is full. Thank you each and everyone for your caring and love for Jim and our family. #ENDALS
