The 2025-26 legislative session will be full of interesting policy conversations. I'm thrilled to be part of the committees below.

Let me know if I'm wrong, but according to my notes, Senator Catherine S. Blakespear is the first woman to chair Senate Environmental Quality Committee*. EQ was one of just three remaining #CALeg Senate committees to not yet have a woman chair. * Not counting hearings w/ the regular chair absent.
