When communication is a one-way street, you start to imagine that you’ve done something wrong. That you’ve done something that needs fixing.

You try to fix something that doesn’t need fixing long enough, it’s bound to break eventually.

I just have to convince myself that I did everything I could. Some things just aren’t meant to be. And I think I’m okay with that.
