Baltimore voters overwhelmingly rejected Question H yesterday. This harmful measure would have cut the City Council nearly in half, and a grassroots coalition of unions, community organizations, and activists defeated the measure and its millionaire funder. (1/3)

The Baltimore City Not for Sale coalition is driven by working people who care deeply about our City, and no amount of money can ever match that. This is the first measure in over 20 years to be defeated in Baltimore City, and it was a truly people-powered win! (2/3)

Our volunteers knocked on thousands of doors, phone banked, sent text messages, presented to community groups, and volunteered tirelessly at the polls to make sure Baltimoreans knew how harmful Question H would be. We'll continue to defend our city from corporate interests. (3/3)

Yesterday all 9 counties on the Eastern Shore voted overwhelmingly in favor of Question 1: The Reproductive Freedom Amendment. ⚖️ With over 60% of the vote, we can say that here on the shore we believe women's voices (and choices) matter.

Question E passed with over 77% of the vote! After 12 years of organizing, Baltimore will ***FINALLY*** have local control of the Baltimore Police Department!

Yesterday Maryland voters enshrined the right to reproductive freedom by approving Question 1. Kol hakavod (well done!) to everyone who chose to support this measure! It will protect the rights and freedoms of millions of Marylanders.

With 77% in support, yesterday Baltimore overwhelmingly approved Question E to return control of the police to Baltimore city residents. This is something we and our partners have been fighting to change for many years, and it is a huge victory for the people of Baltimore!

In a landslide across all 8 Wards, DC voters passed #Initiative83, for ranked choice voting and semi-open primaries. While this initiative needs funding to be fully implemented, it could result in candidates who are more responsive to voters’ opinions.
