We had a data meeting this week. ❌We didn’t look at numbers. ❌We didn’t look at who wasn’t yet at benchmark. ❌We didn’t even plan next steps. We simply went around the room and celebrated milestones students have reached. ‼️Maybe they just learned to write their name.

Teachers who fight for children to get places in Special Education/Alternative Provision don't do it because they want to 'get rid' or 'ship them out'. They do it because they care for them, and want them to thrive in a setting that's designed to best cater for their needs.
