Good morning, I hope you all had a nice restful long weekend. #gold did not take much of a break, trading sharply higher over the past few days and touching $3,500/oz in late Asian trading.

There's other evidence of ongoing, strong Chinese investment demand for #gold. SGE 9999 turnover remains bouyant, nearing the levels seen in Q1-24 despite much less jewellery interest at the moment. Premiums are firm too...

And in the final #gold chart for now, recent moves have led to the 14-day RSI to approach nearly 80. I'm not a techincal analyst by any means, but when moves have been so strong and sustained it does lead to some raised eyebrows. 🤨
