Construction work on a new Diagnostic Centre is underway at our hospital, which will provide patients with better access to modern imaging and scanning equipment, and earlier diagnoses of conditions.

Our ultrasound dept are now providing a new Rapid Access service for A&E, Ambulatory and Inpatients. This has already reduced the time some patients have had to wait for a scan, often reducing the need for admission or the length of their stay in hospital.
