DWP figures show that fraud in relation to PIP is so small its assessed at 0%. Meanwhile HMRC figures show in 2022-23 the tax gap, the difference between tax owed & collected, was £39.8bn But its easier to scapegoat disabled people than go after super rich tax avoiders/evaders

Absolutely right. The rhetoric is reminiscent of that used by the Conservatives to target another vulnerable group, asylum seekers. Welfare cuts should not be the first choice when there’s other ways or raising money such as through taxation.

Socio-political decisions are being made by the Government re “balancing the budget”. They’ve chosen to target, and adversely impact, those with disabilities. #Benefits #PersonalIndependencePayment

UK airports have been quietly using facial recognition to monitor passengers in departure lounges for 15 years, authorised by a secret Home Office order I got hold of - after a year long FOI battle with officials. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/03/2…

The independent regulator has announced a £2,500 pay rise for MPs. At a time when disabled people are facing the biggest cuts to disability benefits on record, this is simply wrong. I’ll be donating mine to charities supporting disabled people in Coventry & across the country.

USA under Trump following in footsteps of UK under Conservatives. They have their own Rwanda case (El Salvador - although perhaps on a different scale) and now their own “Good Law Project case” on automatically deleting messages (again different scale). aljazeera.com/news/2025/3/27…

Israel will say “mistakes were made”- mistakes were not made they just got caught. War crimes are modus operandi for Israel. The evidence speaks for itself.

I’ve joined 41 MPs demanding that David Lammy comes clean over damning allegations that UK arms exports to Israel continued despite a supposed suspension. If true, it would be a grave breach of the Ministerial Code — & raises urgent questions about whether Parliament was misled.

Been granted permission to bring a judicial review which the Legal Aid Agency said had poor merits. LAA refused to overturn their decision on review and appeal and onyl reversed their decision when a LBA was sent by my sols. Access to justice can be undermined in “hidden” ways.
