I have today joined the Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi & other dignitaries in Butambala at the home of my Chairperson of Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Hon. Muwanga Kivumbi to say Duʿāʾ Prayers for his late Dad Hajji Ali Lutaaya & later Iftar Dinner for our muslim friends.

In my annual program of supporting the muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan, I donated assorted food items to the Muslim community of Kitwe Masjid in Buwunga Parish, Buwunga Sub-county for breaking their fast.

I also gave them 1m to support construction of a school.

Visited Kasaka Roman Catholic Primary School in Kasaka Parish, Buwunga Sub-County, Bukoto East, Masaka to assess the situation & see how best we can help our pupils, parents and the community.

I donated 50 uniforms & 2 balls to both girls and boys for sports talent development.

I was part of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Parliamentary Caucus that met with part of the Party's Executive as we strategized for the next steps

The school administration expressed concern over small capitation grant which is most times delayed, inadequate pay for teachers & dilapidated structures that need renovation.

I have attended the burial ceremony of Mrs. Ndagire Mary Ssemujju at Nkuke, Buwunga Sub-county in Masaka District.

Mrs Ndagire was killed by unknown assailants on Sunday evening. The new wave of insecurity in Masaka following the unresolved murders in the region is perturbing.
