GMs can find G value who outperform ADP, but it's a gamble. - Shesterkin career avg: ~30 W, 2.52 GAA, & .917 SV% - Montembeault career avg: 13 W, 3.21 GAA, .899 SV% - Blackwood (career avg: 📉) gifted GMs farming waivers near elite G stats after a mid-season trade to COL

The risks of late G drafting being injuries & declines can sink your season if you can't solidify the position. Late gambles can mean missing out entirely if your G never gets decent playing time, leaving you dependent on the wire & the scraps of other GMs in lopsided trades.

Join Zac and Allen live tonight at 10PM Eastern for the "Forgiveness Episode." They'll discuss players who maybe deserve a pass from last season and some who deserve... no forgiveness for you! #fantasyhockey

Because volatility is sky high, balance is key. Data shows no guarantee that last yr’s stud repeats, but it's still advisable to draft 1 elite G early (after the top skaters), draft a 2nd G in mid/late rounds & get a 3rd breakout/back-up at the end of the draft or off waivers.

Drafting G too early locks up draft capital & increases exposure if injury/inconsistency hits, but waiting can mean settling for limited-play/streaming headaches. A balanced approach (1 elite starter + volume upside pick) minimizes disappointment while maximizing upside.

G Draft Strategy: - Lock in 1 elite starter early (R 3–5) to anchor wins & saves - In R 4-10 grab a high-upside/emerging G - Strongly consider layering in a 3rd G as a late pick to handle timeshares/injuries - Avoid drafting 2 high-risk G. This exposes you to more volatility.
