This week, John Hunter & Kobler and SASH London, held an event to raise awareness on access to healthcare, HIV testing and reproductive health for the Latin American population. Well done to the team, including Dr Edu Peres for working to break down healthcare inequalities.

With the change in the licence for contraceptive use of the Mirena IUS, it can be effective to prevent pregnancy for up to 8 years. Check with your clinic/fitter which coil you had fitted!

Happy 24! If you had fun and - by any chance - there was any risk of exposure to HIV (condomless s*x, not taking PrEP, condom broke, etc), you have up to 72h to start antiretroviral meds to stop the HIV transmission.
Look for our sexual health clinic or any A&E and ask for PEP!
