Today's hearing for the Andre McDonald case just concluded with another significant reduction in bond for the Air Force Major facing murder and tampering charges in connection to the disappearance of his wife, Andreen McDonald KSAT 12

McDonald's bond for murder has been reduced from $450,000 to $200,000. His bond for Tampering with evidence has been decreased from $100,000 to $50,000. Prosecutors were also granted a continuance as they continue to sort through and aquire more evidence. KSAT 12

Another hearing is set for the beginning of December where prosecutors will provide a status update on their findings. Afterwards, trial is expected to begin early January but that date could still be subject to change. KSAT 12

Good Morning! In court today sitting in on the R.C. Curtis trial that began earlier this week. Curtis is accused in the 2015 slaying of 75-year-old Paula Boyd, a beloved HEB employee. We'll bring you updates on KSAT 12 News 👌🏾 KSAT 12

Today, Michael Cruz Arroyo was sentenced in the death of 4-year-old Cash Briones, a boy who was found lifeless in a motel Arroyo and Cash's mom checked into in 2018. Little Cash was found on the bed, next to Arroyo who was passed out drunk at the time of the discovery. KSAT 12

Arroyo beat Cash to death. He was also accused of causing harm to Cash's younger siblings, a 1-year-old and 3-year-old while his mother was away. KSAT 12

Initially, Arroyo was facing a capital murder charge and two counts of injury to a child. Now, the judge has ruled a sentencing of 1st degree felony injury to a child with affirmative finding. A cap of 50 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. KSAT 12

Arroyo may be eligible for parole after serving 25 years in prison. During victim impact statements, Cash's cousin spoke directly to Arroyo. She screamed, "50 years is not enough!" KSAT 12
