We have a fun new paper officially out today, led by Alex Lalejini, Dr. Emily Dolson (@[email protected]), and Dr. Anya E Vostinar! If you know me, or seen me talk, you know I started off doing this evolution thing as a computer scientist... 1/n elifesciences.org/articles/79665

New in NatureEcoEvo: We find that fluctuations alter fitness of adaptive mutants through environmental memory, with Shaili Mathur (she/her) and Dmitri Petrov. A pattern in these changes shows that fitness tradeoffs lead to more memory. Shareable PDF here: rdcu.be/dN4Mr (1/3)

Our article on microbial interactions is out! We discuss what are microbial interactions, what are they useful for, and how to quantify them. For more, see Nittay's 🧵or read the full article here (free access until Sep 1st): shorturl.at/ONiNS
