For most Wisconsinites, being a no-show for work isn't an option.

Wisconsinites expect elected officials to show up, put politics aside to find common ground, and do the right thing.

They deserve a hell of a lot better than what they’re getting from Republicans.

Republicans neglected their responsibilities to the people of Wisconsin & every community in need of clean water.

Why? To line their pockets with donations from DC elites.

Republicans have proven time & time again that they are not fit to govern. Wisconsinites deserve better.

Wisconsinites should know if the water coming out of their taps is safe to drink.

It’s time for JFC to release the funds so we can take meaningful action to fight PFAS.

'The Republicans could decide at any point that they are ready to get this money into the hands of the local communities who have been most affected by contamination & they just refuse to do so.'
- Sen. Kelda Roys on WKOW 27 News Capital City Sunday.

Whether it’s PFAS remediation or access to health care in western Wisconsin, Democrats continue to show up for the people of Wisconsin while Republicans continue to disregard the needs of Wisconsinites.

Republican lawmakers are still sitting on $125 million to clean up PFAS contamination endangering Wisconsin drinking water. Joint Finance Cmte member Sen. Kelda Roys has been warning for nearly a year that the GOP would only pretend to allocate PFAS money.

Nearly 11 months since Sen. Kelda Roys warned the PFAS trust fund was imaginary without JFC GOP approval. Our colleagues are still living in pure imagination. No remediation for Wisconsinites if Republicans refuse to provide the DNR with resources to serve the people.

Wisconsinites deserve local access to healthcare, it's time to get to work. Two hospitals and 19 clinics have closed in western Wisconsin, and Republicans on JFC have still not scheduled a meeting to release the money.

The ball is in the Joint Finance Committee’s court to do the right thing and release this critical funding to Chippewa Valley health care providers.

Families across our state are at risk every time they get a drink of water or give their baby a bath--they deserve elected officials who put their needs ahead of corporate polluters.

WI Republicans need to stop playing games, and help Governor Tony Evers get the PFAS out of our water.

Every Wisconsinite should have the freedom to drink clean safe water from their tap, and the Legislature has the obligation to make sure they’re able to exercise that freedom.

BREAKING: I’m urging Republican lawmakers to support a compromise to expeditiously release $125 million to fight PFAS contaminants statewide without controversial provisions to benefit polluters included in a Republican-backed bill passed by the Legislature last week.

Update: two more months have passed and the money set aside to clean up PFAS still hasn't been allocated. How much longer will Wisconsinites be forced to wait for clean water?

We're calling on JFC Republicans to release the funds as DNR requested today.

Senator Roys on May 18: until the money is actually allocated, it doesn't help anyone.

It's now 7 months later, and the $125 million Legislative Republicans set aside for PFAS still hasn't been allocated and still isn't helping anyone.

Students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members sent a clear message to the UW Board of Regents — we must fight for campuses where everyone is welcomed and feels they belong.

Thank you to the Board for rejecting the GOP’s deal. The work continues.
