That’s about as comfortable a win as you’re ever going to get. Really professional performance, hardly any energy exerted and basically played against an opposition that were happy to take a 2-0 loss. These are the exact sort of results we need at this point of the season.

I can understand why people have questions about Gyökeres, but laying into him after today is wasted energy. You need to make peace with the fact that he might only end the season with 15 league goals, but that’s all we really need from him. His team play is improving hugely.

I cannot wait to play Liverpool at home.
