The paper takes a deep dive into meaning centered interventions (MCIs), which are well-explored in positive psychology but almost unknown in #deradicalization and #disengagement work. That is surprising since most people leaving #extremism experience a crisis of meaning.

The paper includes findings from two sources (survey and field test) that together form a feasibility study for MCIs in #CVE work. It identifies the potential value of selected MCIs and demonstrates the need for more rigorous method testing in CVE to professionalize the field.
