Today, I was honored to meet with Benton Mayor Rita Dotson, President of the KY League of Cities, to accept the 2025 Key to Kentucky Cities award. We discussed pressing issues facing local governments and municipalities across the Commonwealth.

The Kentucky League of Cities presented U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell with the Key to Kentucky Cities award this week in Washington, D.C. KLC Executive Director/CEO J.D. Chaney and KLC President Mayor Rita Dotson made the presentation in recognition of his longstanding commitment to Kentucky’s
