Looking back at 2022, it is probably safe to say that one of the biggest highlights of this year will be the fact that JCEP Fellow and Co-Director Paul Corkum received the prestigious #Wolfprize in Physics, together with co-recipients Profs. Anne l’Huillier and Ferenc Krausz.

In August, we were delighted to welcome Dr. Andrew Proppe, Andrew Proppe, as a postdoctoral researcher in the quantum optics collaboration.

At the end of September, JCEP held its 3rd annual progress meeting and its 1st in-person meeting. It was a resounding success, invigorating the spirit of collaboration among the fellows and their team members, making JCEP what it aimed to be: more than the sum of its parts.
