RHP John Baltz (Hilltopper Baseball, 2024) with a brief, but impressive performance. 6-foot-1, 207-pounds. FB sat 85-88 mph w/ run and mixed in a BB at 70 mph with sweep. Struck out two in one inning of work. Prep Baseball Uncommitted.

3A Regional Semifinal Joliet Catholic - 10 Pontiac - 0 Jake Gimbel and John Baltz combined for the shutout, striking out 11. Keegan Farnaus went 2-for-3 with a triple and 4 RBI’s. The Hilltoppers (27-5 overall) play Saturday at 11 a.m. for the Pontiac Regional Championship.
