So proud of my twin brother, James Byrne, for creating a N95 mask that can be cleaned more easily. #MaskUp news.mit.edu/2020/reusable-…

So impressed by the work by Rebecca Hamm MD, MSCE. Hopefully this can help push providers to consider a single unit transfusion (instead of multiple) in a hemodynamically stable woman with postpartum anemia.

If anyone has a free hr tomorrow (7/16) from 1-2pm (ET), keep an eye out for James Byrne (my twin brother and current rad onc resident) on MSNBC with Chuck Todd & Katy Tur. He will be discussing a new mask his team has developed. ARRO Harvard Radiation Oncology Program

So excited to have our work published in the The Green Journal this month. Hopefully, this will encourage providers to offer tubal ligation after vaginal delivery to anyone regardless of BMI.

I’m so sad to be missing the incredible research SMFM this year (Boo influenza). But I’ll be following along online! AND if you get the chance, make sure you ask my med students, residents, and fellows a thousand questions at their posters/orals! UT Health San Antonio Patrick S. Ramsey, MD, MSPH

T1DM + Pregnancy: higher time-in-range (TIR) is associated with lower preeclampsia and LGA risk. Each 5-unit increase in TIR is associated with ∼50% reduction in the odds of #preeclampsia & #LGA. #SMFM23 @chrishanmfm bit.ly/3DzJLDr

I was so disappointed missing SMFM this year, but it gave me the chance to be with my family while recovering from flu. Getting the chance to listen to my poor constipated 4yo daughter say: “oh poopy! Come out come out wherever you are! Come out of my bum”. Priceless...

Although most pregnant or postpartum patients who require extracorporeal membrane oxygenation for severe COVID-19 experience a serious morbidity event, these findings suggest that the vast majority will survive. ja.ma/3pRDM8X
