Central Office staff took the bus this morning across the district, welcoming students at our traditional calendar schools back for the first day of classes. We hope all of our students had a great first day you for brightened our day this morning! #LCSthrive

At Bragg Street Academy, the arts have consistently been an integral component of our curriculum. Ms. Tiffany's art class incorporates the work of Kara Walker, contemporary painter renowned for her black cut-paper silhouettes, while also teaching specific artistic skills.

LCS will operate on a 2-hour delay for students and staff on Tuesday, September 17. This delay will allow for additional daylight hours to ensure the safe travel of buses & provide extra time to make any necessary adjustments to our schedule should conditions change overnight.

Forgot to post this a couple of weeks back (I've also been sick for about 2 weeks) but this was a good act of sportsmanship by Lee County in a rivalry game with Southern Lee. Aiden Poole sets the ball down for Anthony Pogoncheff to get one last chance to score (in & out layup)
