Woohoo, #MidnightGirl has been nominated for 2 awards at Spilprisen!

Spilprisen is a games award show here in our hometown Copenhagen. It's that one event every year, where we get to celebrate our local games industry, and catch up with gamedev friends over a beer.

The inside of vault originally featured a more dramatic composition. This composition was however later scrapped, because it made very poor use of the wide screen format and had almost no room for interacable objects.

FINALLY got round to playing Midnight Girl (out on Steam) 's Midnight Girl - Cracking story, stunning design (visual and audio) and satisfying puzzles - an absolute joy! (Recommend playing in the dark and when you're feeling sneaky 👀)

The underground train ride was originally planned to end with dramatic train crash. Sadly, the crashing train proved too hard to animate with 2D sprites, and thus the train was left intact instead.

The chapel initially featured a room with an old printing press. If Monique interacted with the press, the handle would break off. Monique could then pick up the handle, which could be used on the crane outside.

#MidnightGirl - Scrapped background #1

The prison originally had an infirmary, where you could find a stethoscope in the cabinet on the left. The infirmary was scrapped for level design reasons, but the stethoscope idea was recycled in a later level.
