I’m so happy ivs are gone and Evs are simplified. When I started as new player in sv (mind you I have an economics degree basically a math degree) it took me over a year until it clicked. You shouldn’t have to pay anyone (coaches) to teach the basic principles of the game.

I just think about how I started playing the game in sv era. Vgc was not an easy game to learn, even if you’ve played Pokemon your entire life. Having champions would have saved me 100s of hours when I first started playing vgc. I hope the game grows exponentially.

Mega evolution now happens before switching, meaning you can now immediate override weathers from megas like charizard Y and tyranitar by switching in a weather mon Likewise something like mega manectric would always intimidate then the other side switches out

Is this going off of Speed? Like if I mega something that slower than the Pokemon switching out would the switch out happen first ? Example: Say I mega drampa, and greninja switches out since greninja is faster would that switch happen before my mega ?

For me, Playing without Tera feels so different. I didn’t realize how forgiving Tera is to leading poorly or having mid team building skills. It feels a different even though it’s the same mons.

Leading the league in assists as a center. Leading the league in rebounds. Averaging a triple double while hurt. Top 15 in the league in defensive rating. If Jokic is not the MVP (maybe luka or sga) then the awards are cooked and bias asf towards media made narratives.
