On DAY 3 of the workshop, participants were introduced to the artificial insemination device for queen bees, the impact of pesticides, and pest control methods. 🐝📚

🗓️ Closing Day: The training workshop for women and young beekeepers wrapped up successfully with 52 participants, over 50% of whom were attending a beekeeping training for the first time. 🐝✨

اختتمت اليوم أعمال ورشة تدريبة على تربية النحل و انتاج العسل، بمشاركة 52 متدرباً من الشباب و النساء، حيث تلقى أكثر من نصفهم تدريباً على تربية النحل لأول مرة. 🐝✨

استجابة للنداء الذي اطلقته @faoiraq لدعم مربي الجاموس المتضررين من التغيرات المناخية و شح المياه جنوب العراق و النتائج الايجابية لتدخلاتها في هذا المجال بالشراكة مع وزارة الزراعة و تمويل @euiniraq ، اطلقت وزراة الزراعة حملة لمزيد دعم المربين بالاعلاف 🌾🌱

اليوم في سفوان،البصرة🌴 قام وفد رفيع المستوى من هيئة المستشارين في رئاسة الوزراء ووزارات الزراعة،البيئة،والموارد المائية،وممثل الفاو د.Salah El Hajj Hassan بزيارة ميدانية لمتابعة الأنشطة التي تهدف إلى تطوير القطاعات الزراعية،بما في ذلك قطاع النخيل والطماطة ضمن المشروع الممول من EU in Iraq 🇪🇺🇮🇶

🗓️Today marks the start of peer-to-peer training W/S on good beekeeping practices & pest management in Erbil🐝 25 trainers including 40% women from 7 governorates (Diyala, Kirkuk, Salah alDin, Nineveh, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah & Dohuk) will enhance their skills through 4-day training

🗓️ اليوم هو بداية ورشة عمل تدريب الأقران على الممارسات الجيدة في تربية النحل وإدارة الآفات في أربيل! 🐝 أكثر من 25 مدربًا شابًا، 40٪ منهم سيدات، من 7 محافظات (ديالى وكركوك وصلاح الدين ونينوى وأربيل والسليمانية ودهوك) سيعملون على تعزيز مهاراتهم من خلال تدريب مكثف لمدة 4 أيام.

خلصت أعمال اللجنة التوجيهية لمشروع WaPOr II لمراقبة إنتاجية الأراضي والمياه💧بأهمية استدامة تدخلات المشروع سيما بناء القدرات الوطنية والعمل المستدام للبرامج المطورة بمنطقتي الدراسة لتقييم أداء الري بغرب الغراف وبرامج التحليلات الخاصة بمراقبة سحب وتغذية المياه الجوفية في حوض أربيل

During the closing of the W/S on modern beekeeping🐝techniques & pest management, Salah El Hajj Hassan, head of plant protection at DoA & beekeeping association in Nineveh, highlighted that: 🍯 developed capabilities at the ToT level are key towards scaling up capacities.
