Under the concept that all robot sensors should have 1ms sampling rate, our laboratory and Shimojo laboratory have developed high-speed tactile sensors, high-speed vision sensors including 3D vision, and the high-speed proximity sensor.

In addition, we developed high-speed actuators and high-speed displays. We can develop new high-speed intelligent systems by using 1ms high-speed devices including encoders and force sensors which are originally high-speed.

By our technology, we applied to a moving 3D rigid body using well-aligned dynamic projection mapping with a high-speed projector based on high-speed physical simulation without latency and real-time adaptation to environmental lighting.

Perfect projection without misalignment has been obtained by a key technology based on synchronization among position of gaze point, high-speed projector, and Galvano mirror which controls projection point. We will make a color version of the system in near future.

Beautiful expression onto moving or deforming 3D objects can be implemented by using combination of the 24bit high-speed color projector and a high-speed 3D shape measurement. Last demo of cats is also 24 bit color.
