What a joy listening to James Ehnes talking to Catherine Arlidge and then hearing his sublime violin playing with CBSO .Bruckner 7th next - what a treat.

I know it's a sad day but Andrew Davis was a joy giver par excellence. To that end, here is the Toronto Symphony surprising the great man on his 75th birthday. This'll make you beam.
God bless Sir Andrew Davis x
Wonderful visit to Wollerton Old Hall Garden - tremendous tulips and peaceful spring displays with lots of bird song. The hot summer beds I saw 4 years ago are incredible. So I’ll be back!
Tried Imperial Fritillaries with Ballerina tulips this year - I think they’re rather fun together. Firewings in the background. Some sunshine at last #upmygardenpath
Drop the Dead Donkey at The Alexandra is great tonic for a Friday evening. Each old cast member was applauded as they came on stage - lovely feeling of affection for their crazy incisive acerbic humour.
It was such a privilege to return to Ludlow English Song Weekend 🎶 to hear the premiere of my new song cycle 'Skysongs' 🍃🌧️
Such a privilege to work with the extraordinarily gifted Harriet Burns and Ian Tindale on this new work ☀️
Thank you so much for a superb festival of song.
A precious day in the garden in the sunshine- roses fed and mulched, lots of dead heading and weeding - and enjoying the Pasque flowers, firewing tulips, imperial fritillaries and hostas before the slugs get them #upmygardenpath

Stunning concert by Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and Schola Cantorum Mozart Requiem and the lovely piano concerto no 22. We’re discovering how much great music there is in Oxford, and Christopher is making the most of all the opportunities.
