Animal Services Officers patrol the streets daily, protecting our four-legged and two-legged friends, such as chickens and ducks.

Often portrayed as the bad guys, in reality, these officers have the biggest hearts.

We are so honored to help continue the memory and legacy of one of our fallen. I want to thank all 240 runners, the department, and the Esparza family for allowing the city to host such an important event.

Media Affairs sent a semi-serious email about someone using Chief's name & a fake email asking for favors. This was the one time the department decided to read their emails & everyone turned into comedians. We couldn't let the dad jokes slide, so we had to share.

Had an amazing time at the Spring Classic Motorcycle Rodeo with the Motor Cops! They may seem non-sense, but they're an incredible and caring group. Proud to stand beside them and witness their skill and courage.

NEC's donation to the Irving Family Advocacy Center empowers deserving kids to embrace the magic of Camp Hope, creating lifelong memories and discovering their full potential. We are grateful for NEC's support in making a lasting impact on these kids.

The Andrew Esparza 5k Run/Walk is returning to Irving this Saturday to celebrate the life of one of our fallen & raise funds for the Esparza Foundation.

Officer Esparza was the first in his family to attend college. His family now gifts scholarships to youth in his honor 💙
