Today the United Nations elected 9๏ธโฃ new members to the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช strongly supports the vital work of the Committee in protecting the rights of children.
๐ฎ๐ช hosted a #PoCWeek2024 event on protecting civilians from the use of explosive weapons in populated areas.
#EWIPA are a leading cause of harm to civilians in armed conflict.

At todayโs Pledging Conference, ๐ฎ๐ช reiterated support for the UN Development & Resident Coordinator Systems, and welcomed the new Funding Compact.
