I have been fighting the use of polythene bags as an alternative to banana leaves since 2022 because I very well know the danger they pose to human life. Ugandans have been reluctant to our pleas but I urge them to stop using polythene bags for cooking with immediate effect.

All cancers develop because something has gone wrong with one or more of the genes in a cell, and the earlier they are detected, the earlier they can be treated.
