It is our shared lunch tomorrow after Sunday meeting - Fonnereau Rd, Ipswich. Mtg at 10.30, lunch around 12. It's like the loaves and fishes - there's always plenty. #abundance

The silence and stillness of a Quaker Meeting for Worship is not complete. Not all noises are disturbances. Some sounds and movement - birdsong, a baby laughing or reaching for a neighbour - can deepen the sense of unity and shared openness to the Spirit in the Meeting.

On Remembrance Sunday, 13 Nov, 2.30 pm Bury St Edmunds Quakers will lay a wreath of white poppies at the Angel Hill war memorial. With silence, poetry and readings, we will hold in remembrance all lives cut short or changed for ever, & renew our commitment to the work of peace.
