Mark my words: we are entering another SARS2 wave. I’m an occupational physician trained to see patterns at work. Looks like 1st wave-large nos people coming to work with virus-rolling around in fits of coughing, faints/collapsing, grey with nausea.1/

Urgent need immediate introduction of:
Overdose prevention centres
Drug checking services
Safer supply including heroin assisted treatment.

Great to use a bit of wellbeing time from work to go & see the unveiling of the plaque from Barnsley Civic Trust marking the place where #georgeorwell stayed when he was in #barnsley . I used to live in this street and had no idea!

Just had explosive interaction w/ Columbia University’s heightened security coming onto campus. They followed me to my office & then lied, saying I didn’t scan my ID for entry (I did) & I pushed an officer (I didn’t). An ugly scene followed. They did this to me, a tenured, full professor.

loved racing the 4.5 mile local trail race the silkstone shuffle last night. Must be over 10 years since I last ran it. Finished in 7th place in 32.17 ..unprecedented!

kinda looking forward to being a vet 50 and seeing how I can do 🙏🏻

When you swallow drugs the effects are unpredictable as you take them at once and you can't be sure of the potency. It's really easy to take more than you intend and for the effect to go on much longer than you want. This is especially true with illicit #edibles
