May is American Wetlands Month! Our wetlands provide abundant benefits - from wildlife habitat to clean air and water - yet are disappearing at a rapid rate. I'm proud of our efforts, led by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to address this challenge head-on.

But one of our favorites is the new life born on our public lands, like these swallow babies anxiously waiting for a meal.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund is helping keep America’s history alive. Across the country, LWCF has helped state and local governments preserve over 28,000 acres of battlefields and cultural sites, ensuring that we can continue to learn from these hallowed grounds.

You have to admit, the @blmnational Corona Arch looks breathtaking under a clear night sky. ✨

Located near Moab, Utah, the Corona Arch Trail is a moderately strenuous 3-mile round trip hike with striking views that will leave you feeling inspired.

Restoring bison herds across our grasslands isn't just good for our planet - it's good for Tribal communities and their inherent connection to land they've stewarded since time immemorial. I'm grateful to our teams across US Department of the Interior for their work on these historic efforts.

From restoring wetlands and building new parks to reconnecting wildlife habitat and expanding access to the outdoors, the 'America the Beautiful' initiative is accelerating conservation efforts across the country.

Located in Olympic National Park in Washington, the Hoh Rain Forest has a lush and green canopy with mosses and ferns covering the surfaces. Within this enchanting forest, visitors can see some of North America’s giant trees and a wide variety of wildlife.
