I am truly disappointed by the lack of progress we have made when managing this pandemic. In the beginning, there was no experience let alone a set of guidelines to assist our health and political leadership.

2 - I was impressed with Canada’s and Ontario’s responses to deal with this unknown entity within our midst.

3. was supportive to lock-downs, school, entertainment, restaurant closures as well as reduced gathering sizes as I felt it was leading to the greater good of our people and a timely end to this pandemic.

4 I felt terrible for the incredible strain on our healthcare system and the toll it has taken on these workers.

5 Almost two years later, we are now again locked down, school, entertainment and restaurants are closed as reduced gathering sizes persist.

6 There is incredible strain on our healthcare system and ICU and our front-line workers are still at the breaking point. In addition, our economies and debt load are now stretched to the limits.

What have our healthcare and political leadership learned from these two years? It would appear very little. We have vaccines and masks. These are the decision makers and experts.

7 I would think with their collective knowledge, we would be much further along in our development and effectiveness of our responses, as opposed to resorting to measures to deal with a problem as we did almost two years ago.

8 We need better leadership and direction both in our senior health care officials and political decision makers.

9 This is decimating an entire sector of the economy, pushing our front-line healthcare providers to the brink, robbing our children of key formative years of their development, and saddling our society with debt levels that will be felt for generations.
