🌊 At the European Parliament’s #OceanWeek, Dr. Constantin Tsakas (Plan Bleu) called for fairer, greener EU fisheries subsidies that support small-scale fishers and healthy oceans. 🌱 Reforming subsidies is key to aligning public funds with environmental and social goals.

🔛 PROJECTS || We are currently in Turin, Italy (14–15 Oct), attending the 2nd General Assembly of the EU-funded SEACURE Project 🇪🇺 and celebrating the project’s first year of progress, which includes today’s workshop ‘Pilot Platform for Mediterranean Rivers and Lakes Communities’.

🔴Today, the European Commission approved the Mediterranean Pact. 🎯 The Pact contributes to creating a common Mediterranean space that is connected, prosperous, resilient, and secure.
