What do you mean by wealth? Most of the middle class will be out of their wealth by funding kids higher education and marriage. We are going to transfer only loans to our kids and become a burden on them as soon as they start earning. Just a few lakhs in your PF is not wealth.

Where is the spending? Entire personal income tax collection goes for debt interest repayment. From other massive govt employees, salaries are gone. Among the education and healthcare, major expenditure is also on salary and very less on school infra, books, facilities.

Until they fear that they will be out of power, they will not reduce the tax burden. For years finance Ministry increase taxes, Modi assured them people will still vote for him. Now the tides are turning. Modi cannot silent angry middle class voters from his lousy speeches.

I don't think he can solve this. He is uneducated, hasn't done any profession, no real skills except orator, neither had the responsibility of raising kids or building a home from own savings. It is too much to expect from him beyond some mere 500₹ a month or 5kg ration.

It's a new tax regime or alternate tax regime or a simpler tax regime. It's not meant to lower your taxes. If you don't want to take 80C than we will reduce the equivalent amount of taxes. There is no additional deduction.

सरकारी बाबू के घरों में खजाना मिल रहा है, नेताओं की संपत्ति करोड़ों में बढ़ रही। जनता सब देखती है। गंभीर समस्या ये है इस देश में कोई 1₹ भी tax नहीं देना चाहता चाहे आमदनी 100₹ हो या 100₹ करोड़। नौकरीपेशा लोगों से सरकार बल पूर्वक पैसे वसूलती है। जहां बल होता है वहां विरोध होगा।
