Many young people leaving prison don't have a place they can call 'home' - they have accommodation. Accommodation changes regularly, is often insecure and often they are there against their will. Home is more than a place to lay your head - it's a place to be at peace

The decision to break from negative relationships, leaving the gang or old group of friends is a tough one for our participants. Choosing to face isolation and maybe the threat of retributon takes courage. Having a mentor who can encourage and support them is so important.

Many thanks to @WetherbyFoodbank for the latest supplies. These will be used in Leaving Custody Kits for participants who are leaving custody to live independently. Having something in the food cupboard to get them off to a good start.

Job Done! 15 days, 268 miles and Mark crossed the finishing line, raising an amazing £21,153 (with still more coming in) towards mentoring support for even more young people leaving prison. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you to everyone who supported.
