Sad to hear of the passing of Léon Gautier. He was the last surviving member of the French D-Day commandos. I had the honor of meeting Léon at Sword Beach in 2019 during D-Day 75. He was sharp, funny and it was surreal being able to meet him. He was 100 years old.
