Great day at the The IMechE Team fire modelling conference in Birmingham, where I was very happy to talk about battery fire modelling and listen to some great talks. Particularly enjoyed the presentations of Prof Guillermo Rein. π₯π‘οΈππͺπΈπ¬π§ Wojciech WΔgrzyΕski π₯π Danny Hopkin .

I have had a great day today at the Imperial Hazelab π¨π½βπ¬π©πΌβπ¬ π₯ running a smouldering peat experiment with Carlos Walker-Ravena. This is the first of several peat samples from the #Falklandslands. Thanks Prof Guillermo Rein. π₯π‘οΈππͺπΈπ¬π§ for letting me help today. Falkland Islands Gov Rob Gazzard

Today, three MEng students of Imperial College London, who are working with us on fire safety topics, presented their projects to the group: ejecta from battery fires, dynamics of elevated fires, and wildfires in Minecraft. Bravo! You did an excellent job. I was truly impressed.
