The scenery in Switzerland is ridiculous.

Earlier today, this bunch surrounded me and tried to eat my shirt. Beware!

I am in Thun, a town whose name I mispronounced so badly when buying my train ticket here I had to point to it on the map. (It's 'toon', by the way.) I'll never criticise anyone confused by 'Gloucester' ever again.

It's the same mountains as before, but this time as viewed from a lake.

I think my German is improving. This clearly means 'plate of bananas'.

When I write an X on a student's work, it means they're getting things wrong.

I tried to find things that are not mountains to take pictures of today. I was only partially successful.

One of the best things about hiking in Switzerland is that it's almost impossible to get lost, even without a map. Just follow the red and white stripes.

This has been my breakfast every day in Switzerland. Muesli was never an option. The people who advertise Alpen lied to me!

There's a penalty shoot out about to happen on TV. The only exciting thing about football. (Don't @ me. I'm right.)

Well done to all my A-level students this year, all of whom met or exceeded their target grades! (Not that they'll see this.)

I'm hoping that Anna Muzychuk gets through in the #FIDEWorldCup chess tournament. Mainly because 'Muzychuk' is such a fun word to say. (Try it and see.)

I've watched one episode of #CrazyExGirlfriend every day since I tweeted this (except when I was on holiday). Yesterday I ran out of episodes. Not sure what to do now. Do I just start again at the beginning? Any advice? #CXG
