This #HispanicHeritageMonth, the Illinois Supreme Court is recognizing key figures in #ILCourtHistory. In 1965, Hon. David Cerda (ret.) became the first Latino judge in Illinois. He later became the first Latino justice to serve on the Illinois Appellate Court in 1989.
