It is worrying that when ACC wants money they run to the media instead of talking to MOF, despite what was reported in the media, we haven’t seen a written request from Mr Noa for an additional N$30 million. The budget ceiling of ACC was communicated in writing few weeks ago.

We appreciate the suggestion that Government should reduce VAT on basic food. We would to inform the Namibian people that there is no VAT on basic food, they are zero rated. Also in May GRN cut fuel levies to soften the impact of rising fuel prices.
