I see the comments full of people making very bad assumptions, but worse than that, they just don’t get how Elon Musk operates. For context: Today I bought a model Y with FSD. 0% financing. No more $99 subscription. Why? The subscription price is going UP!!!

share.listen-up.app/?h=0,0,f,en-US… funny how the “local agent” headline misses the Forrest for the Trees on clawdbot. This pod is notebookLM which proves AI still doesn’t quite “get it”, but neither do many people who rely on others to digest their thoughts. ⁦Peter Steinberger 🦞

What I’ve come to realize over the past few days is that MoldBot is Wordpress. It’s all happening again. It seems easy and works at first, but its internals are a patchwork of independent libraries unaware of each other, and lots of maintainers. Just try to do anything custom.

If we ever get to a state where humanity can operate globally as a hive mind, this is the precursor to that medium. Humans are farmed for attention, bots don’t have attention issues. They can filter out the noise and deliver only the signal directly to the people that need it.

Based on my (grok’s) calculations, running local models on a capable PC yields 2X to 5X cost savings at full utilization, but most people will lose 10X based on their reduced personal use. The models will almost always be behind frontier, difficult to swap and need care. Use API.

This Indian guy is highlighting a framework built by a Chinese guy streamlining code from an Austrian guy that wrapped another Austrian guy’s agent in a loop with some markdown written in english… let’s not lose track of nationality.
