Snagged an early copy of "Chasing History" by Carl Bernstein, a memoir of his apprenticeship at the old Washington Star. Sure, it easily stirs an apostate newspaperman. More surprising is how nostalgia for a lost D.C. drags a Silver Spring boy home from Baltimore. Great read.
