Dr. Gyanendra P. Singh, a well-known wheat breeder and Director, ICAR-NBPGR ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi visited ICAR-IGFRI, RRS, Srinagar, J&K. OIC, Dr SS Bhat along with other scientists interacted with him & explained activities & achievements of the station.

Dr SK Chaudhari, Hon'ble DDG (NRM), ICAR visited ICAR-IGFRI, SRRS, Dharwad centre on 29.04.24 & had interaction with all the staff members. While appreciating the station's research efforts, he highlighted & shared his wisdom on improving the fodder resources in the country.

ICAR-IGFRI, SRRS, Dharwad, Karnataka undertaken training cum input distribution program at KVK Nandurbar under TSP. Team distributed Knapsack sprayers, kisan ploughs, fodder seeds etc. to the tribal farmers and trained them for improved fodder & livestock production technologies.

IGFRI-RRS, Avikanagar organised farmers training cum input distribution program under TSP at village Hapavas, Dausa, Rajasthan. OIC, Dr RP Nagar along with Scientist, Dr HS Meena & local leader addressed & sensitised farmers for improved fodder & livestock production management.

Congratulations to researchers Drs CS Sahay, DS Thorat & PK Pathak along with Scientists of FMPHT Division, IGFRI for a wonderful innovation 'Tractor operated grass seed harvestor' which have been patented from The Patent Office, Govt of India.

Meet our Principal Scientist Dr. B G Shivakumar working at our Southern Regional Research Station Dharwad, Karnataka. Specializing in agronomy, he is currently focused on developing production technology specifically designed for forage crops of peninsular India.
